2022 MMUF-SSRC Graduate Student Summer Conference

Since its inception in 1993, the Graduate Student Summer Conference has been the flagship event of the SSRC's Mellon Mays Graduate Initiatives program. MMUF fellows in their first through third years of graduate school, along with graduating seniors who have been accepted into qualifying PhD programs, are eligible to attend.
The 2022 Summer Conference will be held virtually from June 13-15 at the University of Texas at Austin. The Summer Conference includes workshops and plenary sessions on successfully navigating graduate school and introduces fellows to the national community of MMUF fellows. Registration is now open at the Fellows Portal. Fellows who wish to present papers should register and submit their abstracts by Monday, February 28; all other feelows should register by Friday, April 15. The MMUF-SSSRC Graduate Initiatives Program covers the cost of travel, meals, and accommodations for the conference.
